Mary C. Bowers

Mary C. Bowers, 91 of Canton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Aultman Hospital. She was born in Canton on February 8, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Josephine (Fiducia) Cesari. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Bowers, her daughter, Maryann Dungan and her sisters, Concetta Papulious and Pauline Franzone. Mary attended Canton McKinley High School and was a member of The Total Living Center. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Dana and Thomas Brost, Frederick Bowers and partner Kirk Yeager, John L. Bowers (Karen Burleson), Rebecca (Jerry) Morris, Tony (Karen) Bowers, Carrie Loretta Bowers and Jill Glover (Richard Jones) and Mary L. Goodwin, whom she loved like a daughter. Also surviving are her 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Richville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. and on Friday from 10 AM until the service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mary's dear friend and caregiver Harriet Boswell and also Theresa Atkinson of Passport.
