Martha L. Hoagland

Martha L. Hoagland age 71 of Perry Hts. passed away August 13, 2013. Martha was born May 23, 1942 in Carrollton, OH to the late Earl & Mary (Cameron) Michael. She was a 1960 graduate of Augusta High School and a 1963 graduate of the Aultman School of Nursing. Martha retired from Aultman Hospital in 2002 and continued her nursing career at Doctors & Affinity Hospitals. She was a farm girl with a love of all animals and was an avid sports fan. Martha was dedicated to her family and her nursing career. She believed in honesty and hard work and spoke her mind in all matters. Martha is survived by two children: Mike (Ingrid) Lewis of Canton and Susan (Eric) Hommel of Springfield, VA. She leaves two brothers: Don (Sandy) Michael and Carl (Patti) Michael, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and a nephew. She is also survived by her constant companion and faithful dog, Mia. Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
