Margaret Ruth Doll

Margaret Ruth Doll, 92, of Massillon, passed away on November 21, 2018. She was born in Massillon on April 7, 1926 to the late Louis and Juliet (Berger) Skolmutch. Margaret worked for Bowers Elementary School as a librarian for many years and worked at Central Trust Bank. She was also a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. In her spare time, Margaret enjoyed watching her grandchildren and nieces play tennis. She also liked watching ice skating and spending summers at Berlin High Oakes Campgrounds where she went camping for 47 years. In addition, Margaret loved lighthouses and traveling which prompted many trips to the Outer Banks. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her son, Jeffrey (Sandy) Doll and grandchildren Chloe Doll and Nick Andrisin. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Veryl Doll and sisters Alice Cline and Louise Remley. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Miller officiating and calling hours will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
