Margaret Murdock

Margaret Murdock age 86 of Massillon passed away August 22, 2007 at Amherst Meadows. Margaret was born October 27, 1920 in Massillon to the late Lawrence & Terez (Gurdin) Kovats. She was a 1938 graduate of Washington High School. Marge was a devout Catholic, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be remembered by her family and friends as forever young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband V. Reed Murdock (1984), a sister, Theresa Fabian and a brother Lawrence Kovats. She is survived by five children and spouses, Elizabeth ’Libby’ & Andy Arko of Massillon, Thomas & Bonnie Murdock of North Canton, Judy Murdock of Massillon, Barbara & Jeffrey Kelty of Littleton, CO and Vicki & Mike Tissot of Massillon; sister, Helen Eckstein of Massillon and a brother in law, David Murdock; five grandchildren, John V. Nussbaum, Jason Murdock, Laura Kelty, Deana Hawthorne, and Brock Tissot and five great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. Her pastor Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Monday from 9 AM until 9:45 AM at the funeral home.
