Margaret L. Anthony

Margaret Louise Anthony, age 86 of Massillon, Ohio, went home to be with her savior, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 25, 2008 at the Laurels of Massillon as a result of a brief illness. She was born on May 9, 1922 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late John and Rose Anthony. Margaret was a graduate of Mt. Marie Academy in 1940, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Massillon, member of Christian Mother Society of Massillon. She was employed by Anthony Supermarket and Brunswick Cue & Cushion until it’s closing. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Juliet and Clarie Anthony, and her brother Maurice Anthony. She is survived by her sister Rose Marie Anthony Bechara of Massillon; nephew John (Pat) Anthony of Massillon; 3 nieces Roseann (Eli) Devich, Maureen Anthony, and Dana (James) Reinhard all of Canton; 3 great nephews Gabriel Anthony, Anthony Reinhard, and Davis Reinhard; 2 great nieces Leah Anthony and Theresa Reinhard; sister-in-law Hilda Anthony of Canton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Massillon, Ohio on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 10:00 A.M with Father Raymond Paul officiating. Calling hours will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. and from 9-9:45 A.M. prior to the service at the church. Final resting place will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
