Malcolm H. "Mac" Owens

Malcolm H. "Mac" Owens, age 79 of Perry Township, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on February 24, 1933 in Navarre, Ohio and was the son of the late Harry and Ella Mae (Arnold) Owens. He was a 1951 graduate of Washington High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1951-55. He retired from AT&T. He enjoyed camping, golfing and was an avid Massillon Tiger fan. Mac is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Morris) Owens, whom he married on June 27, 1954, his children and their spouses, Greg and Cheryl Owens, Gary and Lisa Owens, Doug Owens, Cheryl and Steve Fink and Debbie and Jeff Zwick. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and his sisters, Janet (Richard) Derr and Barb (Roger) Geiger. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 21st, 11:00 AM at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Pastor Don Gainer will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
