Linda L. Parker, 83, of Canton, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side, on February 7, 2024. She was born on September 12, 1940, in Canton, to the late Theordore and Merle (Snedeker) Corbett.
She was a proud graduate of Timken High School and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Massillon.
Linda had a successful career in banking and worked for Key Bank and their affiliates for over 20+ years before retiring.
She was a lifelong, loyal fan of her beloved Cleveland Guardians, never missing a game.
Linda not only had a love for baseball, but also for her furry companion, Tizzy who meant the world to her.
Above all, Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, always interested in their activities and their #1 fan.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lori (Ken) Parker-Darash; grandchildren, Jasmine (Aaron) Amburgury, Sydney and Rachel Darash, U.S. Army Captain Jackson (Kelly) Darash; and great-granddaughter Annie Parker.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William “Bill” Parker and her daughter, Tricia Parker.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and services will be scheduled at a later date. Until then, she will be laid to rest beside her husband at Forest Hill Cemetery.
