Kenneth W. Jackson, Sr.

Kenneth W. Jackson Sr., age 52 of Canton passed away June 22, 2013. Kenny was born November 22, 1960 in Massillon. He graduated from Washington High School in 1979. He was a family man who enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, music and detailing cars. He had been employed at Waikem Ford and currently at Case Farms. To many, he was known at 'Special K' one of the Disco Player DJs. He was preceded in death by a sister, Centhyia Jackson. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Michelle (Spencer) Jackson with whom he shared 26 years of marriage. They have four children: Kendra Jackson, Kenneth Jackson jr., Julienne Robinson and Natoshia Adams. His parents, CW & Flora Jackson; a brother James Jackson and a sister LaDonna Jackson. His mother in law, Kathleen Spencer. There are five grandchildren: Nathaniel Stokes Jr., Na'Tajah Stokes, Nai'Mier Stokes, Damere McClellan and DaJon McClellan. And a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great niece and two great great nephews, special cousin Ted 'Sonny' Russell, special friends Nakia, Melvin, Yul, KB, Punchie and a host of other relatives and friends. Calling hours will be held at 10AM Friday followed by a Celebration of Kenny's Life at 11 AM at Friendship Baptist Church in Massillon, Rev. Reginald Hye will officiate.
