Kenneth Killian

Pastor Kenneth “Ken” L. Killian Sr., age 82 of Dalton went home to be with the Lord on November 20, 2017. He was born May 06, 1935 to the late Emanuel and Retha Killian in Wilmont Indiana. He married Ina Blocher on May of 2007 and she survives. Ken served as a Pastor at Burg Hill Baptist Church for 8 ½ years and an Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church of Massillon for several years. He retired after 30 years of service at Tyson Bearing and also worked at CM Credit Union for 19 years. He volunteered as a Boy Scout Leader in Brewster for 10 years; he was on the Board of Directors of Faith in Action and he sang in the Senior Saints Choir. He is survived by his wife Ina; his children Rebecca Sweeny, Kenneth (Sandy) L. Killian II, and Pam (Phil) Reinhart; his step-children Kim (Jeff) Porrini, Curt (Donna) Blocher and Karen (Fredrick) Murphy; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife Donna Killian of 46 years in 1999 his sisters Pat Archer and Vivian Santmeyer and Brothers Dwight and Joe Killian. A Celebration of his life will be held at First Baptist Church of Massillon on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11a.m. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 6-8p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Welty Cemetery.
