Julia L. Bartko

Julia L. Bartko, age 87 of Navarre, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Akron, Ohio on November 6, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Julia (Melton) McDonald. Julia was a 1944 graduate of Washington High School. She had been employed as the office manager at the Stark County Building Department. She enjoyed reading and crafting. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bartko and her son Graydon Bartko. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Van Bremen, her grandchildren, Brenda Hicks, Michael Bartko and Mandy Bartko, her great grandchildren, Taylor Stutzman, Michael Bartko, Marissa Bartko, Kaden and Sadie Hicks. Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 27th at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Julia Wertz officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
