Johnny R. Longshore, 73, passed away on March 2, 2019, following a brief illness. He was born in Massillon on July 7, 1945 to Willie and Lillie (Potter) Longshore. Johnny was a veteran of The United States Army. He was a good hearted man, who never met a stranger. He was a big Massillon football fan and was awarded Boy of the Year at the Massillon Boys and Girls Club. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Hankison) Longshore; children, Yvonne Longshore, Tia Longshore-Hawn, Tyra Wheeler, Anthony Hankison and Chris (Jessica) Wagoner; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jeff and Bobby Longshore; and two sisters, Ruby and Bonnie Longshore. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his four brothers, Tommy, Amos, Luke and Jimmy Longshore. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 6-8pm and Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 11:00am -12:00pm with A Home Going Celebration to follow at 12:00pm.
