John Stepetich

John Stepetich, age 82 of Massillon, died Wednesday morning, October 11, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on November 24, 1924 in Massillon and was the son of the late Frank and Mary Stepetich. He was a Massillon resident for most of his life. John was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army, he retired from the U.S. Post Office and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife Catherine and his brother Pete Stepetich. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, David and Allison Hoyman of Santa Cruz, CA, his granddaughter, Sandy Carolus of Seattle, WA and his sister and brother in law, Barbara and Danny Dimitru of Massillon. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Fr. Raymond L. Paul officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
