John P. Kasper, Sr.

John P. Kasper Sr., 84, of Jackson Township, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. John was born on June 17, 1938 in Canton, Ohio the son of the late John and Mary (Bennett) Kasper. He was a lifelong resident of the area. John was a United States Navy veteran and served our country during the Korean War. He was a retired teacher and taught at Timken Senior High School. John had a love for dogs. He was a Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeye fan. John was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Carol A. Kasper with whom he shared 65 years of marriage; children, John P. (Holly) Kasper, Jr., Carol Ann Culbertson, Cheryl A. Ford, and Debra A. (Greg) Duncan; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

According to his wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no calling hours or services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Stark Co. Humane Society. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com.
