John Dottavio

John Dottavio, age 91, of Navarre passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 11, 2007 at Altercare of Navarre. John was born in Massillon on August 11, 1915. He was the son of Alessandro and Louise (Lelli) Dottavio. He was a member of St. Clement Church in Navarre and St. Joseph's in Massillon. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 lovely years, Hazel Dottavio and son, Paul Dottavio. He is survived by two daughters, Joyce Keen and Barbara Birchler; three sons, John C. Dottavio, wife; Elizabeth, Charles Dottavio wife, Nancy, Alex Dottavio, wife, Kay and daughter-in-law, Lori Dottavio. John will be missed by his loved ones and his loving legacy will live on by his children, 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Survivors also include two brothers, Albert and Alex Dottavio; one sister, Carmey Williams. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 11 A.M. at St. Clements Catholic Church in Navarre. Fr. Edward Benelite will officiate.
