John Clarence Collins

John Clarence Collins age 83 of Massillon passed away Thursday. He was born December 29, 1928 in Massillon to the late Victor & Ludovica (Halmaghi) Collins and was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School. John served with the US Army receiving an honorable discharge, and retired from the Timken Company. As a man who watched most sports, he especially liked football and was a diehard 'Tiger Fan'. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mary Richardson. John was a loyal man who loved his family very much and did all he could to help when needed. John is survived by a sister, Dr. Victoria Gibson, brother in law Ronald Gibson, a niece Meegan and a nephew Ryder and two great nieces Addison & Sydney and great nephew, Ty, a niece and adopted sister, Jeanne Drakos and her son Nickolas all of Florida. Funeral Service will be 11 AM A.M. Monday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Garden. Friends may call Monday from 10 AM until the service Monday.
