Janelle Roth Hannum Schmidt

Janelle Roth Hannum Schmidt, age 42 of Perry Township died unexpectedly on September 7, 2011 in Wolcott, Colorado. She was born in Massillon, Ohio on January 25, 1969. Janelle was a graduate of Perry High School, Class of 1986 and received her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Business from Kent State. She owned and operated Squarepeg Promotions. She was a member of First Friends Church. She was a lover and advocate of music, all art and a kindred spirit to many and a friend to all. Surviving are two daughters, Chelsea Schmidt of Canton and Rachel Schmidt at home; son, Jacoby Schmidt at home; her parents, Wayne B. and Judith Ann Cook Hannum of Massillon; three brothers, Glen (Marybeth) Hannum II of Massillon, Will Roth of Akron, Dylan (Teresa) Roth of Mogadore; sister, Jenny Roth of Akron. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Helen Cook and Glen and Estella Hannum. As per Janelle's request she has been cremated. Friends may gather at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-9PM. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 10:30AM.at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Benjamin Payne and the Rev.
