James R. Castile, age 64 of Dalton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 29, 2013 at his home. He was born in Massillon, Ohio and was the son of the late Clyde and Eleanor (Moore) Castile. Jim was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School and then served his country during the Viet Nam Conflict in the U.S. Navy. He was an engineer by trade and worked for Miller Weld Master. He coached both of his children in baseball and softball throughout their sports careers and was involved with his grandson's sports activities as a coach as well. He is survived by his wife, Diana H. (Copanos) Castile, whom he married on June 15, 1969. He devoted his life to his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kristi Castile, his daughter, Elisa Castile and his grandchildren, Aiden and Alliana Castile. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Anne Castile. Services to celebrate Jim's life will take place on Friday at 1:00 PM at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Lalama officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. and on Friday one hour before the service. Memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
