James P. DePalmo age 57 of Canton passed away June 19, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic. Jim was born July 5, 1954 in Canton to Joseph & Helen (Musteric) DePalmo and graduated from Timken High School. He was employed by Eppy's Chevrolet for 25 years, Ewing Chevrolet for 10 years and with Spitzer Chevrolet from 2000 to present. He did police car repair and equipment installation for the Canton Police Department, Hills & Dales Police Department and Stark County Sherriff Avondale. Jim touched the lives of those around him and will be sadly missed by family and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph V. DePalmo. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donda (Campbell) DePalmo, his son Daren James (Michelle) DePalmo and grandson Gavin James 'Little G' DePalmo. His mother Helen A. DePalmo, four siblings: Joe (Krista) DePalmo, Joane (Bruce) Lightell, Janice (Terry) Urbas and Jeff (Gina) DePalmo and leaves many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
