Howard C. Beckelhimer

Howard C. Beckelhimer, age 65 of Massillon, passed away June 28, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born March 15 1943 in Branchland, WV. Howard was raised in WV, served in the US Army and then moved to Massillon. He was employed by LTV and retired in 1998 from Lukens Steel. Howard will be remembered as a dedicated family man who took great pride in his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Palma Beckelhimer Highland; sister, Loretta Baer; three brothers, George Beckelhimer, Rusty Highland Jr., John Beckelhimer, his father Cledith Beckelhimer, father-in-law, Orval Summers and his brother-in-law, Harold D. Summers. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Summers) Beckelhimer with whom he shared 44 years of marriage; two sons and their wives, Dennis & Michelle Beckelhimer and David & Laura Beckelhimer; four grandchildren, Krystal, Madison, Justin and Darrin; three brothers, Densil (Priscilla) Beckelheimer, Charles and Gerald; sister, Brenda; mother-in- law, Gladys Summers; special aunt, Lillian Hardesty; cousin, Diane and many nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 AM Wednesday July 2, 2008 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 AM until the service at the funeral home.
