Harold Boone

Harold Boone, age 82 of Massillon, died on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Hanover House. He was born on June 26, 1928 in Shock, WV and was the son of the late Charles and Virgie (Keener) Boone. He was a Massillon area resident for most of his life. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Republic Steel following 30 years of service. He was a member of the V.F.W and enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Verelene (Helmick) Boone, his second wife, Zella (Ullom) Boone, his brother Harper Boone, his half brother Buddy Lambert and half sister Etta Smith. He is survived by sons Gary (Nancy) Boone and William (Jacqueline) Boone, his grandchildren, Angela (Tom), Kevin (Michele), Michael (Audra), Cory (Amanda) and Shana, 7great grandchildren and his sister-in-law, Hazel Boone. Also surviving are one half brother and two half sisters. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Denzil Lawson officiating.
