Grace Nussbaum

Grace V. Nussbaum, age 82, of Massillon passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at her residence. She was born January 4, 1928 in Wayne County, OH the daughter of the late Dorson and Ella (Sauers) Groff. Grace had been employed by Central States Can, Ohio Paper Products, and retired from Century Products. She enjoyed gardening, boating, cooking and canning, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Grace is survived by her daughters Linda Nussbaum, Connie Hart, Donna Nussbaum, and Jill Nussbaum all of Massillon; sister Alice (Kenny) Bolam of Perry Twp.; brothers Ray (Merle Jean), and Lee (Gladys) Groff both of Massillon; grandchildren Buffie, Brooke, and Tori; great-grandchildren Felicia, Kendra, Savana, Trenton, and Craig. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harlan Nussbaum February 21, 2005; brothers Clarence, Leslie, and George Groff; sisters Mary Nussbaum, and Irene Graber. The family will receive friends Monday, October 11th from 6-8 P.M. at Paquelet Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Tuesday at the funeral. Graveside services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations in Grace’s memory may be made to the donor’s choice.
