Geraldine L. Collier, age 84 of Massillon, passed away Friday, September 7, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on September 9, 1923 in Dover, Ohio to the late Roy and Edna Casebeer. Geraldine was a 1942 graduate of Dover High School and later attended Canton Business College where she received a degree in medical assistance. She worked at the Timken Co. in the payroll department and retired from the Massillon State Hospital in the food service department. Geraldine was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed working on puzzles, reading and her pets. Geraldine loved spending time with her family and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dale Leslie Collier in 1965, her sister; Wilma Mathias and brothers; Dale and Ronald Casebeer. She is survived by her sons; Richard (Nancy) Collier of Mansfield and Brian Collier of Massillon, grandchildren; Mark Collier of Mansfield and Christina Collier of Massillon, great-granddaughters; Alexandria, Arianna and Natalie Collier. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Rev. Mark Oster of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will be Officiating. Burial will follow at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church: 127 Cherry Rd. N.E. Massillon, OH 44646.
