Gerald L. Caldwell

Gerald L. Caldwell, age 75 of Jackson Twp., passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. He was born on April 27, 1933 in Lumber City, PA the son of the late Vernon and Clara Caldwell. On September 3, 1966 he married his wife Carol (Drew) Caldwell and they would have celebrated 43 years together. Gerald was a U.S. veteran serving in the Marines during the Korean War. He was employed at Hercules Engine and retired in 1998 after 32 years. Gerald was a member of V.F.W. Post #3124. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Billy Caldwell. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children and their spouses, Gerald Scott (Michele) of Canton and Dennis (Michelle) Caldwell of Massillon; his grandchildren, Valerie and Daniel Caldwell; his sister, Ruth Danvir of Grampian, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
