Freda L. Smith

Freda L. Smith, 78 of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was born in New Matamoras, Ohio on June 28, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Clifford and Anita (Richardson) Kirkpatrick. Freda retired from Apple Creek Developmental Center where she was an aide. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Smith, her daughter, Brenda Johnson, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Teresa (Mike) Ray and Tammy (Emilios) Kisgeropoulos, her son, Mark (Terry "Tootie") Smith, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and her brother William Kirkpatrick. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 pm and on Friday from 12-1 pm Paquelet Funeral Home & Crematory 330-833-3222
