Freda L. Adore

Freda L. Adore, age 84 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday May 1st at Affinity Medical Center. Freda was born February 3, 1929 in Canton to the late Frank & Helen (Schmidt) Waikem and was a 1947 graduate of Mt. Marie High School. She was a 33 year employee of Goodyear Aerospace in Akron. Her memberships included: St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon, the Christian Mothers Alter Rosary Society and the Ladies Guild of K of C #554. In her private time she would play golf and cards with the ladies. Freda and Frank enjoyed their winters in Florida. In addition to her parents, her husband Frank Adore passed away in 2011. Freda is survived by her brother and sister in law Frederick & Sue Waikem and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Monday at St. Mary's Church in Massillon (due to renovation at St. Joseph). Her pastor Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. Burial will be with her husband at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 9:30 AM till 10 AM Monday at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
