Floyd J Trump

Floyd J. Trump, age 91 of Jackson Twp passed away on October 11, 2017. He was the first New Year’s Day baby to be born in Alliance City Hospital to the late Floyd and Alice Trump. He met and married, Helen Grace Marker, who was the love of his life on March 25, 1949 and they celebrated 68 wonderful years together until her passing in March 29th. Floyd retired from Republic Steel, Berger Division. He served as a volunteer fireman for over 50 years with the Avondale (Station 3) Fire Department. He always lent a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors. His passion in life was his family and working dawn to dusk in his yard. Floyd never missed an opportunity to attend his grandsons or great- grandchildren’s activities. His memory will be cherished by his daughters Grace Ann (James) Sakel and Diane (Greg) Zupp; his grandchildren Kristofer (Maureen) Zupp, Jason (Laura) Zupp, James (Stephanie) Sakel Jr. and Jeremy (Katie) Sakel; his great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Erin, Anna and Ryan Zupp, Isabella Sakel, and a future great-grandchild coming in March 2018, his sister Claudette Bagnola as well as a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved Helen; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. A Celebration of his life will be held at Noon at the Paquelet Funeral home in Massillon on Monday, October 16, 2017. Jeff Trump will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 11a.m until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Northlawn Cemetery.
