Eleanor A. Heckathon

Eleanor A. Heckathorn, 84, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 following an extended illness. She was born on December 14, 1929 in McKeesport, PA to the late Sabri and Anna (Kovaly) Demer. Eleanor liked to bake and camp. She was on several bowling leagues in the Massillon area. She was dedicated to her family. She is survived by her daughter Cathy White of Massillon; two sons Richard Heckathorn, Jr. of East Sparta and Edward (Mary Jane) Heckathorn of Hartville; four grandchildren Robyn (William) Billingsley, Tina Heckathorn, Stanley (Christina) White and Bryan Heckathorn; two great-grandchildren Christopher White and Hayley White; four sisters Jeannette Mills, Alice Henry, Genevieve Cramer and Patricia Florio. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Heckathorn and a daughter Jacqueline Heckathorn. Friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 7:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20, 2014 at 1:00PM in the funeral home, Kevin O'Brien, officiating. Burial will be in Brookfield Cemetery.
