Douglas Anthony Ciprian

Douglas “Doug” A. Ciprian, age 63 of Canton, passed away on January 8, 2021. Doug was born on August 26, 1957 in Canton to Patrick and Jane (Richards) Ciprian. He graduated from GlenOak High School. He worked as a Boiler Operator for the City of Orrville until he retired. Doug was a member of Christ the Servant Parish in Canton and American Legion Post 44. He enjoyed all sports, especially the Cleveland Browns. His favorite time of the year was Hall of Fame week in Canton. Doug had a wonderful sense of humor and always liked making jokes. He was the best husband, dad, and grandfather, and he absolutely adored his grandchildren. Doug is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Laura, children, PJ (Kristin) Potts, Sam (Angela) Potts, and Danielle (Demetrius Cannon) Potts, grandchildren, Ava Potts, Sophia Potts, Djibril Keys, Andrew Potts, Lillian Potts, Urijah Keys, and Elijah Cannon, and siblings, Patrick Ciprian, Marijane (Ronald) Leonard, and Tina (Rob) Ellison. Doug’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held the week prior to Hall of Fame week.
