Dolores Berdell Loomis

Dolores Berdell Loomis, age 92 of Massillon, Ohio, died April 1, 2018 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. Dolores retired after 32 years in the banking industry and was a Vice President of a Massillon bank and also served as Massillon City Auditor. She was the first woman member of the Massillon Club, a member of the Eastern Star, and the Massillon Woman’s Club and loved being with family and grandchildren. She was the daughter of Herman LeMasters and Esther Snyder LeMasters. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Larry James Loomis and her sister, Lois Gordon. She is survived by her son, Larry H. Loomis (Susie) and her grandchildren, Wendy, Stacy, Todd, Pam, and Chad. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 6th at 5:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home with visitation one hour before the services. Memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of choice.
