Dennis M. Dewalt

Dennis M. DeWalt, 71, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on September 4, 2024 at home.

He was born on December 14, 1952 to the late Ralph and Virginia (Purney) Dewalt at Canton, OH.

Dennis enjoyed NASCAR, Cleveland Guardians, Browns, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a car buff and had owned a 1956 Chevy Nomad. Dennis loved animals, especially his pet cat Butterscotch. He had played with many area bowling leagues.

Dennis is survived by his siblings, David (DeeAnn) DeWalt, Debbie DeWalt, and Dianne (Tim ) Walker, friends, Robert and Diann Phillips, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his, wife Sue (Hayden) DeWalt; and brother, Daniel DeWalt.

A Private Graveside Service will take place at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
