Dean Allan "Dabby" Byer

Dean Allan “Dabby” Byer, 64, of Canton, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Dean was born on March 29, 1957, in Canton, the son of the late Harold Dean and Donna (Haines) Byer. He worked for Ecolab Inc. as a manager. Dean enjoyed going on Poker Runs, riding his Harley Davidson, and boat racing. He was a car enthusiast and mechanic who enjoyed working on his daughter’s vehicles. Most of all he loved his grandchildren and the time he spent with them. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew Chad Byer and his uncle, Robert Haines. He is survived by his daughters, Shawna Byer, Ashley (Daniel Dazey) Byer, Breanna (Travis Hochstetler) Byer, and Deana Byer; brother, Bret Byer; sister, La Donna Wise; nephew, Bret Byer, Jr.; and numerous other family members.
