David C. Branch

David C. Branch, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Amherst Meadows with his family at his side. He was born on December 4, 1947 in Canton, Ohio and was the son of the late Charles and Ellen (Dennis) Branch. Following his graduation from the former Glenwood High School, he served his country during the Viet Nam Conflict era with the U.S. Army. He retired from Union Metal. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tim Preda. He is survived by his wife, Hiroko Branch, his daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Sean Stephen and Michelle and Dennis Caldwell and his grandchildren, Valerie Caldwell, Alexander Stephen and Daniel Caldwell. Also surviving are his sisters and brother-in-law, Deborah Preda and Kathy and Mark Spicer and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken and Vickie Branch and Ron and Laurie Branch and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family wishes to thank the staff at Amherst Meadows for the care and compassion shown to them during this time.
