D. Michael Cecil

D. Michael Cecil, 68, of North Canton, passed away on March 7, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy, following an extended illness.

He was born on December 9, 1954 to the late Donald and Beverly (Neal) Cecil in Struthers.

Mike was a graduate of Southwestern Central High School, Class of 1973, he retired from Southway Fencing Company in 2008 and then continued to work at Giant Eagle Washington Square until 2019..

Mike was an out going person, he enjoyed talking with people. He had never met a stranger.

Mike is survived by his loving , sisters, Linda (Brad) Nyholm and Jody (Terry) Dillon; nieces and nephews, Darby Smith, B.J. Nyholm, Becca Monastra, and Jamie Dillon; and great niece and nephews, Micah, Amelia, Riley, Lincoln, Elliott, Vance, and Ezra.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 1:00 pm-3:00pm at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, with a memorial service to start at 3:00 pm, with Pastor JamieWalters, officiating.

Inurnment will take place in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the American Kidney Fund.
