Cona E. Blaylock

Cona E. Blaylock, age 76 of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2020. She was born in Marston, Missouri on August 14, 1943 to the late Thomas and Becky (Harden) McCool. She married Robert A. Blaylock on September 25, 1959 and they shared 60 years together. Cona was a Sales Representative for Trader Publishing until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, gospel concerts and traveling with her husband. Cona was a generous, kind and fun loving soul. She loved deeply and was always ready to help someone in need. She will forever be remembered as a faithful,devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara King. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Robert; her children Mark (Robin) Blaylock, Steve (Christina) Blaylock and Lesa (Terry) Jenkins; her grandchildren Sonya (Danna Davis) Blaylock, Alyssa (Jesse) Warber, Jacob Webb, Jordan (Olivia) Jenkins, Candace (Laci Raines) Blaylock, Taryn (Tyler) Johnson, Kaitlyn Webb, Gabrielle Blaylock and Kaylee Potts; 6 great-grandchildren; her sisters Frances Egler, Rosemary Wire and Leatha (Duke) Long; her brother Virgil (Carol) McCool; her faithful canine companion Rocky as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Cona’s life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 2p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and will be livestreamed through the Paquelet Funeral Home website and the funeral home website.
