Clyde Kirk

Clyde Kirk, age 78, of Oak Harbor, OH went home to be with the Lord peacefully at his residence Tuesday morning July 27, 2010. He was born April 13, 1932 in Lawrence County, KY the son of the late Henry and Julia (Hammond) Kirk. He was retired from CSX Railroad. On March 10, 1953 Clyde married Lucille (Moore). Clyde and Lucille enjoyed traveling to Texas and Florida in the winter, playing golf, and bowling. They also enjoyed boating on Lake Erie, and loved spending time with family and friends at Wooded Acres Camp Ground. Lucille passed away October 6, 2002. Clyde was a member of Sandhill Freewill Baptist Church in Sandusky. Clyde is survived by his two daughters, Lou Ann (Dan) Proper and Cheryl (Bob) Bunge; grandchildren, Chrissy (Tom) Hines, Angie (Chad) Dye, Craig (Ashlee) Mincer, and Josh Maloney; great-grandchildren, CJ, Jayme, and Lucas Hines, Lily and Landon Mincer; sisters, Emma Burdette, and Becky (Ansel) Skaggs; brother, Taylor (Wendy) Kirk. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 30th, at the Sandhill Freewill Baptist Church 7703 Mason Rd., Sandusky, OH where the family will receive friends from 11:00A.M.until the time of service. Interment will follow in Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions in Clyde's memory may be given to the church or Memorial Home Health and Hospice.
