Catherine Ziesmer

Catherine Schuhriemen Ziesmer, age 98 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Amherst Meadows. Catherine was born on January 4, 1908 in Ontario, Canada to the late Henry and Mary (Prout) Kelley. She lived most of her life in the Massillon area and retired from Eaton in 1970 as an inspector. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, Ralph Schuhriemen in 1939, Arvine Whitey Ziesmer; an infant daughter Ruth, brothers and sisters: Norman Kelley, Samuel Kelley, Henry Kelley, Clarence Kelley, Marie Tyler and Millicent Lentner. Catherine was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar-Rosary Society. She is survived by her children, Alice Bolam of Massillon, Anna Mae Snoddy of Palm Desert, CA., and Ralph Schuhriemen of Rocklin, CA; 13 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
