Carolyn S. Tanner

Carolyn S. Tanner, age 67 of Perry Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. She was born on March 6, 1949 in Diana, WV and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Velma (Garvin) Tanner. Carolyn last worked at MCA Sign Company. Prior to that, she had worked at Century Products. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Zoey-Marie Love Sturm, brothers Raymond, Jr., Bob and Donnie and sister Susan. She is survived by her son, Keith (Jenny) Adkins, her daughter, Christine Shrewsbury, her grandchildren, Jeannetta Shrewsbury, Nicole Adkins and Lorynn Sparks, her great grandson, Maximus Sturm, her sisters, Ruth, Shirley and Mary, her brothers Delmas and Jimmie and her former husband and longtime friend Darold Shrewsbury. The family will receive friends at a gathering at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday from 5-7 p.m. They will share memories at 7:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
