Barbara Fetzer

Barbara Fetzer, age 91 of Massillon, passed away on July 1, 2021 at Chapel Hill Community. Barbara was born on March 20, 1930 in North Canton, Ohio to Otto and Amelia Hoffman. She graduated from Jackson High School and worked as a secretary for Kendall House, aka, KFC. She enjoyed having a clean home, baking chocolate chip cookies, and taking care of her children and grandchildren. Barbara had multiple skills including working outside, helping her husband build houses, and doing roofing. She enjoyed playing cards in her card club and was a faithful and involved member of St. John United Church of Christ. Barbara was a “spit fire” and was always direct about what was on her mind. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 64 years, Ralph, son, Richard, and six siblings. Barbara is survived by her children, Susan (Greg) McFee, and John (Wendy) Fetzer, grandchildren, Shaun (Ashley) McFee, Shane (Jammie) McFee, Megan (Craig) Betz, Zach (Megan) McFee, Johnny (Roshelle) Fetzer, Jody (Jason) Heighley, Brittany (Corey) Richardson, and Cassie Klinger, and eleven great-grandchildren. Friends and family may come to call on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Paquelet and Arnold –Lynch Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
