Annette Piatko

Annette Piatko, 70, of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Annette was born on March 26, 1951, in Stecoah, NC, the daughter of the late Winston and Hester (Martin) Hyde. She is a 1969 graduate of Perry High School. Annette owned Annette’s Beauty Salon for 40 years. She will be forever remembered as being “Big Hearted” and very giving. Annette most of all loved her family and especially took every opportunity she could to attend her grandchildren’s sports functions. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting as well. Annette was also a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gary Piatko in 2005 and her brothers, Ken, Ray, and John Hyde. She is survived by her sons, Anthony (Dee Dee) Piatko, and Aaron Piatko; sisters, Nancy (Ronnie) Rorrer, Brenda (John) Kross, Lillian Huff, Anita Radzik, and Dorothy Hamilton; grandchildren, Cole, Blake, Chase, Carson, Drew and Hayden Piatko; close family friend, Travis McGuire; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Annette’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
