Albert Sedjo

Albert Sedjo, 83 of Massillon, died on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Aultman Hospital. He was born on March 21, 1926 in Massillon to the late John and Susan (Profant) Sedjo. He was a lifelong area resident. Al was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired as a painter with Local 603. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Ted Sedjo, his grandson Sean Sedjo, his brothers, Edward, John and Donald Sedjo and his sisters, Mary Profant, Sue Bednar, Mildred Reiter Anne Bigler, Helen Profant and Irene Selan. He is survived by his children, Dave Sedjo, Pat (Shannon) Sedjo and Cally (John) Riese all of Massillon and Cindy Brennan of Columbus, OH, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and his sister Pauline Snyder of Warren, OH. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home with Rev. Edd Matako officiating. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. and on Wednesday one hour before the service.
